About Founder Of Golrang Industrial Group
Master Haj Mohammad Karim Fazli, the founder of Golrang Industrial Group and a top entrepreneur in the country, was born on May 7, 1932 in the city of Tuysarkan (Hamedan Province) and began his first economic activity while studying with his father, who was a well-known businessman and a wealthy man in the region.
He got married at the age of about 20 and, upon accepting the responsibility of starting a family, traveled to other cities in Hamedan Province to seek more favorable conditions and learn more about the situation in various neighboring cities, gaining effective experience in different working conditions. In this regard, he went to Tehran to gain more experience in the large environment of the capital. At the beginning of his residence in Tehran, problems surrounded him from all sides, but the professor, with his determination, resolved the main problems and obstacles within 3 years.
Seeing that advanced countries have developed and progressed by relying on dynamic and active production and industry, and that we, despite all our unique abilities and capacities, have become consumers of their products, sometimes in small quantities, the professor thinks of spending all his efforts to establish a large production and industrial business in his own country and in this way do his part for his homeland and his fellow countrymen. His father was engaged in soap making for a period of time, and the professor also became somewhat familiar with the production of detergents in his adolescence, so he turned to this field, that is, the detergent industry, to start his production activity. After much searching, he became associated with individuals and companies that are active in this field.
Then they set up a small workshop and initially started manufacturing dishwashing liquid, which was done on a larger scale and more consistently in the early 1940s. Some time later, they added a bleaching product, and in the following years, they produced a laundry powder called "Golrang Super", a scale remover, a glass cleaner, and a fabric softener, and they constantly expanded their business. Then, with proper marketing, they offered their products widely and generally to many hospitals, hotels, and organizations. This process continued until the early 1950s, when they founded Paksho Company and continued to develop their production activities with great effort, and each year the number of their workers and employees increased, and their entrepreneurial dream was gradually realized. After the revolution, during the Holy Defense era and in the most difficult conditions, Professor Fazli, in addition to production, also pursued export work.
At that time, due to the special conditions of the Holy Defense, workforce reduction was inevitable for most companies. In order to secure the company's foreign exchange resources, continue production and stable employment of employees, and especially to prevent workforce reduction, they started exporting and were able to secure the foreign exchange needed for production, and in this way, they both prevented workforce reduction and continued their entrepreneurial activities and productive job creation.
Ultimately, this effort led to the expansion and development of Paksho Company and then to the establishment of the "Golrang Industrial Group", of which Professor Fazli was the chairman of the board of directors of this industrial group. During this period, various types of shampoo, washing liquid, toothpaste, paper towels, and in other words, almost most hygiene and detergent products with different brands such as Golrang, Oh, Softlen, and... It is widely and with desirable quality supplied to the country's market, and today, the "Golrang Industrial Group" is one of the most important production groups (holdings) in the country. This group, which includes various companies such as: Paksho, Golpakhsh Awal, Golrang Pakhsh, Pedehe Chemi Nili, Pedehe Chemi Paydar, Golberg Baharan, Marinasan, Pedehe Chemi Paydar, Arian Pakhsh Pishro, and... As one of the most dynamic economic groups emerging from the private sector and raised by popular efforts, it is now, as a leading and exemplary model, making the blood of hope flow in the veins of national production and industry and crystallizing entrepreneurship in its best form. Professor Haj Mohammad Karim Fazli and the group he founded have won many awards and certificates of appreciation due to a lifetime of entrepreneurial activity. Among them are the award for the country's best entrepreneur and exemplary employer in 2005 and the gold statuette of the fourth international green economy festival in 2007. Being selected as an exemplary entrepreneur by the Ministry of Industries, receiving the gold medal for research and development from the Minister of Industries and Mines, receiving the plaque of appreciation for the country's exemplary exporter, and in the field of social responsibility, concluding a memorandum of understanding to support Golrang with UNICEF for the benefit of Iranian children are also among his other honors.
